Randy is presently retired and lives with her husband in Minnesota. Randy has taught elementary school, worked in Special Education and was a chaplain's assistant at a local hospital where she was active in grief facilitating and hospice. Now a grandmother she has experienced the loss of friends and family, including the loss of her son.

"I believe we need to keep a door open for sharing experiences with death that we all have. I wrote this so that children can talk freely about death. Bless the person that shares this book with a child."
